My Skincare Favourites

I've never had the best skin, and to be honest I never used to take care of it as well as I should have. But within the past year of so, I've been looking after my skin a lot more and seen great improvements. I use a few different brands and like to try new products every now and again, but these are my go tos!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish:

I feel like this product was all over YouTube back in 2015/2016 but it really is great. I've been using this product since I was about 13 and to say it works just as well almost 5 years later demonstrates that it's perfect for all skin types and all ages. Within the past few years I've been using it much more regularly and it quickly cleans away dirt and excess oil that can block pores helping to reduce impurities. You simply massage 1 or 2 pumps onto dry skin concentrating on your forehead, nose and chin and then rinse the muslin cloth in warm water, wring out, and gently wipe away the residue. It's quick and simple to use and my skin feels amazing afterwards with a lovely glow, and it doesn't leave your face feeling sticky.

Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask:

I use this mask around 2-3 times a week either on target areas of my skin or all over depending on how my skin is that week. I apply after the cleanse and polish and leave on my face for 5-10 minutes and remove with a thoroughly rinsed cloth. This product contains green clay and helps reduce oiliness. It draw out impurities and leaves my skin feeling balanced and calm. It also contains aloe vera which gives it a lovely fragrance. I have quite oily skin so it works perfectly for me!

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic:

This is the perfect toner. You use it as you would any other by applying it with a cotton wood pad. It doesn't sting and leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed as well as toned. It has a lovely fragrance and lasts a long time. A bonus is that none of it's ingredients or the product itself is tested on animals so it's all cruelty free.

Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser:

As I mentioned early, I have quite oily skin so an oil-free moisturiser is perfect for me. The clean and clear leaves my skin feeling soft and clean after use and helps to prevent spots and blemishes.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:

I mainly use this product when I'm in a rush or travelling. When I do my weekend trips to London it's perfect as they do mini sizes. It removes makeup easily whilst cleansing the skin at the same time and is great for all skin types. It clears up breakouts and hydrates the skin. Perfect!

Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner

This is another product I use when travelling as it's easier to take with me. Another great product which helps keep my skin refreshed and toned. It's ideal for sensitive skin and for using after your cleanser and before your moisturiser morning and night to help remove those last traces of dirt and make up from your skin.

I'd love to know if you have any products you're currently loving, I'd love to try some new cruelty-free products. Stay safe.
