My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Happy July! For today's post I thought I would go through my favourite/everyday makeup products. Most of these products I've been using for years and some are a little newer but these are my favourites!

Foundation: Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

This foundation has been my go-to for years. It's lightweight, and doesn't feel like you've just caked your face with makeup. It provides a medium - full coverage and is so easy to apply. I wear the shade '100 ivory' and apply it to the back of my hand, then apply to the face with the real techniques beauty blender.

Concealer: Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer

I switch between this concealer and the Collection Lasting Perfection but I mainly use this as an extra to the foundation just to help cover up an spots. It works just as well as the foundation and applies easily.

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection

I use this concealer mainly for under-eye circles. It provides high coverage and I mean, you can't complain about the price, it's just over £4! The shade 'cool fair'  fits my skin tone perfectly and with a damp beauty blender, the product blends in amazingly well!

Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

I have the worlds worst oily skin so any powder that could keep my face matte for a whole day would be a miracle worker but I've found the Stay Matte settles really nicely on my skin and lasts for about 4-5 hours solidly without looking cakey.

Bronzer: Hoola Bronzer

I’ve been using the hoola bronzer for nearly a year and a half and I absolutely love it. I prefer to use my own brush rather than the brush it comes with but it's very buildable so it can be used for a natural look or something a bit more intense and looks god regardless. It lasts for ages and whilst it's on the higher end, it is most certainly worth the money!

Highlight: Anastasia Glow Kit - That Glow:

I don't wear highlighter everyday but one I do this is the palette I go for. All four shades are brilliant and I like to apply  with a fan brush. They can look intense if you apply too much but they can also be toned down with a more gentle application. I love the luminosity of them, not to mention a little bit of product goes a long way. Although the price is slightly high, the quality is amazing and a lot of product is provided, definitely worth the investment.

Eyeshadow: Anastasia Modern Renaissance:

This palette breathes creativity into me! It's my absolutely favourite and I've no idea why I love this palette as much as I do but if you know me personally you'll know I do talk about this palette way too much.  The tones are exactly what I love, a range of cool tones and warm tones that do not get muddy or dusty when mixed. Highly pigmented and super easy to blend. The packaging is sturdy and of high quality, so spending the extra money on this palette is justifiable and the fact that is has a mirror is a huge bonus.

Eyebrows: Revolution Velvet Rose

Now this is an eyeshadow palette but I use the shade '13' for my eyebrows. It's the perfect colour and very pigmented. It applies extremely well to my brows despite being meant for your eye lids and it means I don't how to go out and buy a separate brow product.

Lashes: Max Factor False Lash Effect

The texture of this mascara is amazing and doesn't feel heavy or clumpy; it was very smooth and light. The best application is to let the first coat dry a bit and then do a second coat for best results. It's a brilliant mascara that stays on all day. I never get panda eyes and I can wipe off at night easily with a face wipe.

Lips: Mac - Velvet Teddy

This is such a beautiful lipstick. I have been using this for years; my go-top everywhere I go. A gorgeous nude that suits every skin complexion differently. The formula is pigmented and glossy and provides a natural look. It goes with every look and is great for on the go and travelling with. It's very creamy and smooth and applies like butter on toast. You can’t go wrong with this!

So that's basically my everyday makeup products. I hope you enjoyed this weeks post and maybe found some new products to try.
